Chapter 148: Peace

I tried my very possible best to enjoy the party, to try and act as if I was enjoying myself but as much as I tried it was very hard too. I didn't enjoy the celebrations as I was anxious about the state of mind of Alpha Abbadon. He gave me the least attention I have ever had with him for a while, only looking at me a few times and not even dancing with me.

It took about 3 hours before the party started to unwind. I just kept on hanging on, waiting for the end, so Alpha Abbadon and I could be alone.

Alpha Abbadon himself showed no signs of slowing down as he seemed to be on a high. I could tell he was in high spirit and had no negativity stuck inside of him, except maybe for me.
