Chapter 52: Beta Mark's Tent

I watched as Alpha Abbadon left for the night. I didn't want him to go. I wished he could stay back with me in the camp tonight. I wished he had suggested he be the one to replace Beta Oliver tonight and I would have gladly have said yes to his request. Now though, I had to go to either Beta Oliver or Beta Mark's tent to spend the night in solitude.

I chose the latter, as I made my way through the werewolves that were leaving into the darkness of the night for their guard duties. As expected Beta Oliver and Beta Mark were the only two left behind as I walked and stopped in front of them a few meters away.

"Baela, it is to my surprise you still picked me to watch over you tonight". I heard Beta Oliver say as I looked at him. He looked shocked and worried at the same time.

Beta Mark probably had no clue what we were talking about as he did not witness what had happened between us in the morning.

"Yes, I know it is Beta Oliver but I see no need to hold a grudge against".
