"Please be my woman so that we can fight this together,"I said, staring into her eyes as I crooked her hand into mine.

I watched her closely with my gaze piercing into her skin. I looked at her with a confused look as she snatched her hand away from my grip.

"I'm sorry I can't do this,"she said, and I gulped down into nothing.

"Why can't you work together with me so that we could win this battle together?"I asked as I walked closer to her.

"I don't think I can do…"

"Why?! Is it because of Damon?"I asked, and she shook her head in response.

"Don't drag him into this,"she said, and I smiled inwardly, even though my heart ached in pain.

Why can't she choose to work for me? I'm sure she's turning down my offer because of Damon. I think I've to do something about it. She can't possibly choose Damon over me. She's mine, and mine alone.
