Chapter 32

I stared at Brody, and he stared back. Then I turned to Mason. I stared at Mason, and he stared back. The room was so silent a pin drop would have sounded like an earthquake. Roderick. He was mere minutes from where I sat. My best-friend. My brother. My previous Alpha. My eldest brother’s biggest enemy.

Mason was the first one to break the tension filled silence with a low growl. I glanced back in his direction, I g 80ulped as I took in his enraged filled form. His hands were shaking, his eyes were black and looked out for blood. “Mase…” I trailed off, having no idea what to say.

“There will be no fighting on my land” Brody stated, his voice a command not a suggestion. I cuddled further into side, pressing my face into his side. Mason didn’t say anything else, he simply stood up and stormed out the room. I moved away from Brody and began after him, but Brody held me back. “Let him go” he said softly.

I nodded in reply as I tried to get into Mason’s head; he blocked me. As I looked up
