Chapter Forty-Four: Hidden Pain

GINA’S POV

“Last night was a fucking mess.”

I groaned as I relived the events of the other night. It was kind of my fault, now that I thought about it. I didn’t know what had come over him at that time, but all I wanted to do was tease him, just as he teased me.

I loved the way his eyes never left mine, the way he followed my movements, and the way he gaped at my body.

I knew the effect I had on him, and for once, I wanted to be the one in control, but I didn't expect it to reverse on me.

“It couldn’t have been that bad,” Praya said, trying to make me feel better, but she wouldn't understand because she wasn't there.
