CHAPTER 89: WHAT IS HIDDEN.

Scott walked before them as they took the exit. At the far end of the path that led to the gates of the pack, Scarlet stood, arm crossed, lost in deep thought. To make it more creepy, the surrounding lights flickered while others stayed steady. Her shoulders were jerking as she wept, standing alone in front of the tall white building that had withered flowers surrounding it.

Lana was about to make her way to her when Scarlet turned and began walking off. Wherever she passed, the bright light in that area twinkled like she was sucking its energy. Also, the pronounced dark clouds around her made it obvious that something was following her.

“Do you see that?” Lana brought Kamala's attention to it.

Kamala wasn't a bit pleased because she had been studying the farthest landscape of the pack that her eyes could behold. Everything seemed to be dying. Even the few pack members they had passed seemed unhealthy. Something was going on, she concluded, dragging her gaze to what Lana was showing
