The rising waves of the beach was relaxing, but not soothing enough for Lana's divided attention. She checked to make sure the area was clear. Levi continued his rambling, thinking that Lana was interested, but she wasn't. Where they had stopped was still far from the car.

Kamala hurried back when only a few guards remained, while others joined Scott. “I think our journey is a waste of time. We didn't want anything authentic, and I think something is going on in this pack,” she spilled, not waiting for permission from them to speak. She, too, was very much concerned. More than anything, Kamala was convinced that there was dark magic surrounding the pack.

Standing to her feet, “Levi, let's talk later. I have something to take care of first.” Turning to Kamala, “did you bring a change of clothes?”

She nodded. “We should change once we leave.”
