I ordered Clarissa to open her eyes and watched her curiously. I had all the time in the world to grab a towel or a nurse’s uniform but somehow Shadow did not let me do that.

My wolf let out a growl after the battle had subsided. I had used that to make my wolf be at ease and let the passion die down but when I heard the way her heel tapped on the floor behind me, I knew it was her.

Part of me had been relieved to find out that Silas was okay and out of harm but the other part was simply restless. I was not sure what was going on but I knew that nothing was going to go right with Aaron’s death.

I somehow dreaded the conversation with dad aka Alpha Thadduess and what new trade I would have to do in exchange for this crime.

Somehow these days whatever I did, I ended up in a mess. My brain wanted to pin all the blame on the stupid girl who had bumped into me at the pub and was now tailing me but my dick went rigid upon hearing her approach me.
