Raphael Stars....I stepped away from the door to let bear pass through. Walking over to one of the chairs, I sat down and watched as our male pack doctor walked over to Zinnia. My shoulder were tense as J watched his eyes roam her figure, sizing her up.I can tell that the bear shifter was a little hesitant to give Haden's daughter a check up. But unlike hos wife -Monika- he seemed willing to help if his help was needed.Bear nodded his chin over to the bed by the other side of the room without taking his eyes off of her.Zinnia looked a bit intimidated by the man towering over her. Towering wouldn't even be the right word.Bear towers over me. But Zinnia is really small that if he falls on her, she would be a bag of broken bones. Those electric green eyes of hers jumped over to me and I had to physically stop myself from standing up and walking over to her.Instead, I kept myself seated firmly in the chair and gave her a nod.Wrapping her arms around her middle, Zinni
Mina Wolf...I looked around the small room, taking in the white walls, the two big chairs at either corner opposite from me and the florescent lights that were shining bright even though it id day time.To one side of the room, opposite from the door, there is a tall shelf with bunch of first aid kit and large bowls of herbs lined up, along with a few equipments. The bed I'm sitting on is high, forcing my legs to dangle over the edge.Beta Silver was still sitting on the floor near me, his head leaned against my right leg.I was surprised when Raphael told me that Beta Silver mind linked him willingly. I was glad that there was more chance of Beta Silver returning to his old self. I wish I knew how I was helping him. That way, I might be able to put my back in to it and help him more.My eyes raised up to the door Raphael had disappeared in to and I stared at it, wondering what the three might be talking about. The giant man who had done a check up on me was quite intimidat
I walked in to the office and stepped aside from the door to let Monika reached out and switch the lights off in the front room and closed the door. She then locked the office door and turned around.I followed after her as I roamed my eyes around the big office. There is a huge tablet and a large leather chair behind it. The desk has files upon files stacked up along with different colored pens, a large round glass jar filled with candies and lolipops up to the top.Beside the table a bit further away, there is a coat hanger and there are two white gowns hung on it, one of the gown extremally larger than the other. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the large gown belongs to Doctor Bear and the smaller one belongs to Doctor Monika. On the opposite side of the wall, there is a large picture frame and in the frame, there is a beautiful picture showcasing a beautiful family.Doctor Bear and Monika are standing next to each other, a big smile shining on their faces. Between them,
Raphael Stars...I tried my best.I battled with my wolf the entire day and night and I'd managed to win for twenty four hours. But now, I lost.I needed to see Zinnia.I had resisted the urge to run back to the pack hospital and check up on her the entire day.I'd kept myself busy so I'd forget about her, stop obsessing over the woman I'd kidnapped to torture. At this point, it was becoming really unhealthy, the obsession I have towards her.I knew she would be safe. She's in the safest environment in the entire pack.Bear and Monika are wolves of honor. They respect their works to the point that they can't hurt anyone that needs their help, not even their enemy. She also has Silver with her. With the slightly feral beta by her side, no one would dare touch a strand of her hair. No one would throw a rock at her.The thought of my people raining rocks on top of rocks on my little green flower truly bothered me.I didn't care the first day Beatrice had told me about the inciden
Mina Wolf...A shiver violently shook my entire body.My throat was sour and dry from coughing all night. A headache was pounding in my head like a drum. The blanket was wrapped around me and I was still curled in a fetus position since I came here the previous night. No matter how much I tried to keep warm, the chill had already sipped through my skin and embedded in to my bones, refusing to leave me.I tried to sleep but sleep was playing hard to get. When my body felt too exhausted and my eyelids start to drop, the words Doctor Bear had said to me would echo in my head, forcing my eyes to open and stare at the wall near my bed.And if it's not his voice, then it's the hateful gaze Monika had when she saw me or the fear and disgust the people of the pack had when they threw rocks at me. Or it's the little girl I'd seen in the pictures in Monika and Bear's house, smiling at me.I let out a sigh and forced my tired eyes shut, begging for sleep to claim me.I heard soft foots
Raphael Stars...I looked down at Zinnia sniggling my shoulder, her soft breath ghosting over my neck. Her soft scent reached my nose, forcing it to flare and take a deep breath. My little green flower was burning up unnaturally for a wolf shifter. It is natural for a wolf shifter, or any shifter for that matter, to have a warm body temperature. But right now, that is not the case for Zinnia. She was burning up to the point of making me worry that she might burst in to flames.I walked up to the door of the pack hospital and found it open. I stepped in to the front room and walked over to the bed to kay her down. But as soon as I tried to pull away, she whimper and her eyes fluttered a bit as if she was about to wake up.I leaned down, hovering over her to see if something had caused her discomfort.I pressed the back of my left hand to her right cheek and in a light speed, she caught my hand and pulled it under her cheek before she turned to her right and went back to sleep.
Mina Wolf...Doctor Bear walked out of the office and stepped closer to the shelf that was holding several equipments and medicines. He mumbled something as he picked up a few bags of herbs alone with a Mortar and a pestle. He pulled a large chair and sat down in front of the shelf, giving his back to me.Because of his wide figure, I couldn't exactly see what he was doing, but I could hear the movements he was making. I could tell that he was dropping some of the herbs he'd taken from the shelf in to the Mortar and grinding thee together to form some sort of powder or paste.Tearing my eyes away from him, I looked out of the door.Beta Silver was sitting on the chair Raphael was sitting in a couple of minutes ago. And no matter how much Monika tried to get him off of the chair, Beta Silver had refused to move, bearing his teeth at her when she tried to shoo him with a broom.Losing the fight with a feral wolf, Monika had glared at Beta Silver and walked back to the office be
Raphael Stars...My right knee continuously bounced up and down as I waited for my informant to send me the route Haden's cars would be taking. I looked over to the window of my office and stifled a frustrated sigh. The sun was already setting and I still didn't know which route they were taking.I'd already called all of my warriors and informed them that we would be out to hunt tonight. They are all prepared and were waiting for me to say when and where we were going to go.It's already been a few hours since I spoke with my informant over the phone. He'd warmed me a while ago that Haden was trying to form an alliance with Landor and his rouge wolves but I'd brushed it off, thinking that Landor wouldn't be able to turn on me to the extreme because my pack was the source of his food. But, I guess Haden thought of a good way to secure an alliance with Landor after all.My phone, which I'd placed on top of my desk on front of me, pinged and I immediat
