Mina Wolf...

A shiver violently shook my entire body.

My throat was sour and dry from coughing all night. A headache was pounding in my head like a drum.

The blanket was wrapped around me and I was still curled in a fetus position since I came here the previous night.

No matter how much I tried to keep warm, the chill had already sipped through my skin and embedded in to my bones, refusing to leave me.

I tried to sleep but sleep was playing hard to get.

When my body felt too exhausted and my eyelids start to drop, the words Doctor Bear had said to me would echo in my head, forcing my eyes to open and stare at the wall near my bed.

And if it's not his voice, then it's the hateful gaze Monika had when she saw me or the fear and disgust the people of the pack had when they threw rocks at me. Or it's the little girl I'd seen in the pictures in Monika and Bear's house, smiling at me.

I let out a sigh and forced my tired eyes shut, begging for sleep to claim me.
