Evelyn stepped back in fear as she shook her head. For all she knew was that Ken was amongst the werewolves.
“No…,” She shook her head as tears started welling up in her eyes. What does he want of her now? Does he want to kill her already? Such thoughts ran across her mind.
She was surrounded by dark walls on all sides and if Ken attacked her there would be no escape for her.
But Ken didn’t move. Who knew what kind of expression he was making? For his face was covered with a mask. All that Everlyn could discern was that his legs didn’t move. He stood like a statue.
“Evelyn…,” he whispered under his breath, not wanting anyone to hear it. His voice was like a mouse unnoticed and unheard.

Evelyn’s gaze switched between the two men. She couldn’t make head or tails of the situation. A long line of questions came to her head. Where was she? What were these people? How was she here?
