Chapter 32: True Nature

(Sergio's Point of View)

I couldn't believe what had just happened. Alpha Zavier, the leader I had followed and trusted for years, had just betrayed me and left me to die. As I lay there on the ground, barely conscious, I realized that I had been a fool to believe in him. I had ignored the warning signs, the rumors, the whispers that something was not quite right. And now, I was paying the price for my naivety.

But even as I lay there, gasping for air, I knew that I couldn't give up. I had to fight, to survive, to somehow make my way back to my pack and warn them about Alpha Zavier's true nature. I pushed myself up, my body aching and bruised, and began to stumble through the forest, hoping against hope that I would find some kind of help.
