Chapter 18: The Bidding and heinous thoughts.

The centrepiece had a wooded lot with all numbers on it.

I sat alone on the two-seater couch. Leo and Roosevelt sat in the next two-seater by the right side.

My father didn't come with us which meant he would be watching from afar. I sat nervously and crossed my legs together.

I felt heat erupt from my body as it did when my father talked down to me earlier. I don't know why my father wants me to bid for this malignant weapon, he didn't even tell me a specific amount to deal off on.

I let my eyes drift slowly in Leo's direction. He seemed so unbothered. I didn't miss when Roosevelt flicked some stray hair off Leo's face.

Is Roosevelt so insecure that he thinks if he doesn't touch Leo for a minute someone would steal Leo away from him?

Tch, I'm sure my father will soon notice them. They are the type he hates the most, gay people.

The faint light went dimmer, the door by the side clicked open and an uncountable number of people came inside. I barely recognised a few of them.
