Chapter 55 – The Revelation of Lisa Kane
Lisa's POV
The council members around us went silent as every pair of eyes was fixed on me. I managed to sit up and tuck my legs underneath me. I wasn't going to lie down like a submissive stray dog and beg for my life. No, I would never do that. My secret had been exposed and there was no need to hide any longer.
"Following your confirmation, you ought to know what has to happen. There's only one question left for me to ask you, " Klaus pulled out a gun from his suit jacket and pointed it at my head. I heard the safety go off. Will you be the one to do it, or shall I have the honors?"
Kayden turned to face him. "You will not shoot her."
Klaus let out a long sigh. He was becoming impatient. "Despite my desire to end this myself, I'll have to acknowledge your order." He bowed and held the gun for Kayden. "Here, aim between the eyes."
Kayden took the gun from him and began to disassemble it right in front of the council
