ALPHA DAMON'S POV

Without thinking twice, I left the cafeteria in a hurry and I could hear Chloe shout, 'Mr President' as I ran out. I owed her an apology for running off without a word.

I drove straight to the hotel where my father was. Immediately I entered the VIP room, I saw him seated up, though the medical machines were still connected to him. He was still on the respiratory machine too.

"Father." I called impulsively the moment I saw him.

I went to the bed side to examine him closely. He was getting better already.

He looked like me with emotion-filled eyes and it was hard decoding the message he was trying to pass across.

"When did he wake up?" I asked the doctor that was in the room.

"About an hour ago. He has been making finger movements but this is the first time he would open his eyes." He detailed.

Then I spotted my mum on the sofa in the room, watching everything that happened in the room quietly. She was definitely joyful, too joyful that she didn't know how to expres
