“You look like a doll!” Louis commented.

Esther observed at herself in the mirror, feeling extremely iffy.

She was cladded in pink. A suspender skirt was over the oversized shirt. A pink bow sat at the center of her skirt as the sleeves fell below her wrists.

Her hair was tied into two ponytails by ribbons. Soft makeup covered her face, giving her a sense of innocence and childishness. This made her scrunch up her nose.

“Why do I look like a minor?” Esther questioned, extremely dissatisfied. At least for today, she wanted to adorn a mature outlook.

Esther scrunched up her nose.

“You appear just fine,” Louis said, “and my life is precious to me. Moreover, this suits you to be the best.”

“Being a child?”

Louis rolled his eyes and diverted the topic: “What are you even dressing up so eagerly for?”

Esther’s cheeks were tinted red at his questioning
