Without waiting for his response, I turned on my heels and stuttered inside. But before I could make it to the bed, I felt his warm fingers curling around my arm. I turned around and there was something unspoken in his dark eyes as he peered back at me. Even in the darkness, the gigantic bedroom bathed in the moonlight, he seemed to be glowing.
