Neither of us spoke much as we headed back home after breakfast the next morning. There was a silent pact between us that we weren’t talking about what happened last night. It happened, with both our consent, and that was it. However, I did idly wonder how many men she has been with. Ivy was definitely not a virgin, not that it mattered.
