It took a good number of days for those who were attacked at Elora's "funeral" to heal. She was deemed wanted and Alpha Diesel was still finding it hard to believe that a human can control natural wolves. He didn't tell his father why he would not be returning because he knew his father would interfere in the matter. He spent the first three days trying to find Elora but when he didn't see her and he knew his father wouldn't condone his absence any longer, he packed up again and decided to leave.
