It took a good number of days for those who were attacked at Elora's "funeral" to heal. She was deemed wanted and Alpha Diesel was still finding it hard to believe that a human can control natural wolves. He had heard of things like that but they were seen as myths - even in the world of werewolves. Roman on the other hand had to postpone his leaving. He didn't tell his father why he would not be returning because he knew his father would interfere in the matter. He spent the first three days trying to find Elora but when he didn't see her and he knew his father wouldn't condone his absence any longer, he packed up again and decided to leave. But just like before, as he was putting his things in the trunk of his car, something stopped him from leaving. It was Elora. " What are you doing here in the open?" He asked but Elora silenced him. Roman wondered if perhaps he was really the selfish one. He spent so long thinking about it that eventually, he couldn't go back. He needed to see Elora. He needed to explain to her that the unfortunate incidents that followed them being together were beyond his control. He needed to win back her love and trust but he didn't know how he would do that - not when she barely even let him get his point across. That night he felt so defeated that he went to bed but after barely three hours of sleep, he woke up and drove straight to Blue Moon pack. " We are here to see you" Gina responded before she motioned to the mat Elora was lying on, asking if she could sit down. " This place is kind of cozy. It's really nice" she said after Elora let her sit down. She looked around to see that Elora had already made the place her own. She had her clothes neatly hung on a rope she tied to two poles. She had made a little section for bathing and a small fireplace for cooking. " Do you plan on living here? It's kind of uncomfortable don't you think?" Aidan asked. He was still standing and assessing the place. " It's quite the opposite thank you," Elora said giving him a very, " I'm offended" look." Well, what happens if it rains?" Gina asked." Well I go over there in that cave and stay there with the wolves keeping me warm," she said pointing at a small cave just below the waterfall. The next day, at about 10 o'clock Elora looked over at Aidan's body as they lay on the mat, their clothes thrown over the place. Instantly she felt disgusted at herself. Ever since she got figured out her abilities, she's become cold. She's spent most of her days plotting how she would deal with those who treated her poorly that her heart became too cold. How could she sleep with Aidan? He just likes her a bit but Roman is in love with her and if she is being honest with herself, no matter how dangerous her relationship with Roman is, she cares more for him than anyone else. " Good morning beautiful," Aidan said before he placed a soft kiss on her lips. She looked over at him and found him smiling innocently at her. She shouldn't have slept with him, now she will hurt him with her next words. " Is something wrong Elora? You look upset" Aidan said still kissing her body. " You should go," Elora said, summoning enough courage in her tone so that he would know that she wasn't joking.

" But I'll help regardless" Roman added and then they went to the scene of the incident and that was when Elora saw Roman's father for the first time. It was such a strange feeling seeing the face of the man who killed her mother. It bothered her how much Roman looked like him because he simply looked like Roman would in a couple of years. He had the same snow white hair, the same cold blue eyes, and the same facial features as Roman even with a beard, the only difference was that you could look at him and tell that he was evil. The man was in front of the house of Alpha Diesel now and was making his presence known by killing anyone who didn't seem to know where he was and for a moment all the courage Elora had gathered over the months disappeared because she had made herself vulnerable after sleeping with Aidan. Thinking about it now, he felt like he shouldn't have been so hurt about her sleeping with Aidan because no matter what happens between them and anyone else, they must end up together. Still, it hurt that the first time he got to see his mate from afar, it was when she was sleeping with another man repeatedly. Remembering just felt like something was jabbing at his newfound joy so he stopped himself from thinking about it. Instead, he remembered the thing that was causing him much joy now.
