Carson POV It didn't take a lot to convince Ares to let me stay with Jamie. I was grateful he let me be here, I don't know how he does it. The only thing that's on my mind is Jamie. I can't even think straight. Every day I hoped there would be a change, hoping she would wake up. I know Ares went back to Jamie's old pack, I hope he kills their Alpha and Luna. I don't think Gideon wouldn't allow it, but fingers crossed. I heard the rumors, how they traffic she-wolves. But I could never find any evidence. If I had only searched harder, I could have gotten her out of there sooner. We even had a coven of witches working 24/7, trying to find a solution for the spell Jamie is under.
