Ariana I found myself stumbling through a thick forest. My feet bare as they stepped on leaves and twigs, snapping them in half. Cuts and blood now graced the soles of my feet from stepping on the rough ground and stones. Where was I? I looked around, not recognizing the area. Did the City have such forests? I glanced at the clock in my office. It was time for the Monday meeting. Standing, I began to prepare my documents together with Lewis’s for the meeting. The CEO always had a meeting every Monday with the administration and managers from other departments. The company was diverse. It was involved in electronics, products like beauty and skin care and other stuff. I didn't have time to read about everything. But I was intrigued by the game company… Perhaps I could apply to change jobs and build my first robot that could play games and wrestle? Ok... I was getting ahead of myself now. I giggled. Ariana Today's meeting agenda piqued my interest. I was impressed to discover that the new recent game that had gotten many people talking was developed by a woman.. and she was the lady boss of this company. How amazing was she? Looking at the CEO and Vice…was she young too? Oh, how envious I felt…. I'm close to my thirties and haven't done shit with my life. But I knew I wasn't late.. this was an opportunity for me... Ten minutes later, I smiled in triumph as I finally typed in the last word. Finito! I clamped my hands together in satisfaction. Now I can print it out and take it to Lewis. He loved to work with hard copies even though technology had made things easier for us. I ran through the document once more and after correcting the errors, I clicked on print. Seconds later, the copy machine ejected the documents but I frowned when I saw the outcome. Some words were visible, some faint… others didn't get printed out at all. It seems the cartridge had run out of ink.
