18~ Suspicions

I sat in my office smiling to myself from ear to ear. Recalling how my little human had gotten excited and kissed my cheeks after I told her about her change in department. Her scent still lingered on my face and I want it to be so for the rest of the day.

The look of pure happiness on her face showed me that my decision was worth it….even though I won't be able to be close to her during work hours. I was happy I could let her do what she's always wanted. I would always support her dreams… always.

My brows furrowed as what happened over the weekend flashed through my mind. The reason I didn't take her to the hospital was because of my suspicions about her… At first… with the intensity of the heat waves she was having, I was almost convinced she was going into heat. After all it was long overdue. A she-wolf usually goes into heat once she meets her mate, marked or not.
