My heart soared as I walked through the large glass sliding doors leading to the artificial intelligence laboratory. I can't believe this was happening… somebody pinch me because I might be dreaming!

All I had wanted ever since I graduated was to get a job and create super-advanced human-like robots. That was my dream. But no matter how much I tried to send out applications or my sketches, I was never called or given a chance. It reached a point where I thought I wasn't good enough and I was starting to give up on that path.

I know Lewis must have used his influence to get me in but I'll do my best to prove to him that I was meant to do this. I'll make him proud.

Smiling to myself, I entered the huge lab that had several workstations with laptops for deep learning and machine training. I could even see some work-in-progress robots following commands and moving around the lab.

"Hi… welcome. You must be Ariana. The new specialist." A cheery voice snapped me back to my sens
