James
I had rushed back to the pack after the council meeting ended. But instead of going straight to the mansion, I passed through the pack house after mind-linking Christine's parents to bring her to the pack house so that I could initiate her back into the pack.
My aim was to deal with all my unfinished business so that I could spend the rest of the coming days with Zoe without any disturbances.
I wanted to make it up to her but not only in words.
Lewis parked the range rover outside the pack house and I went upstairs to my office. To my dismay, Christine was there alone when I clearly asked her parents to come with her.
I hate being disobeyed.
"Where is Jack and Sherry?" I asked her curtly with a furrowed brow.
"Mom and dad are busy with something, I told them they didn't need to be here," Christine purred and I wrinkled my nose in disgust.
