“What took you so long? You have gotten slower. Maybe it’s all that Luna special treatment you are getting nowadays,” Evans teased, crossing his hands on his chest as he stood at the entrance of the cave.

I rolled my eyes. “I came here as soon as I can, and…” I dashed toward him and picked out a strand of his curly blonde hair and zoomed back to where I stood, holding up the strand between my thumb and index, and wearing a smug expression. “As slow as you think I am now, you will still never be able to catch me.”

“What the hell was that?” Evans’s eyes bulged out and he took a few staggered steps backward, pointing a finger at me.

“What is what?”

“How did you d-do that?” he stuttered with a hollow voice from his sudden breathlessness. “You were there and then you weren’t, and then you reappeared just now.”
