“What do you mean?” Alpha Quinn asked me slowly. “I thought he had something to do with the poisoning. We should work on this. Do you know the risk this has?”

I turned to Gabby and met his stern eyes. I smiled and decided to speak to him.

“Are you involved in the poisoning of my little son, Dan?” I asked carefully.

“No!” Gabby replied. I was expecting him to deny this and this was exactly what I planned for.

“I trust you and now, you have gotten yourself into trouble by helping the wrong person at the wrong time. You have lost the trust of many but I will speak to the Alpha to give you another chance…” I told him slowly.

“Thank you for that, milady!” Gabby told me. He bowed and looked up to me. “But why would you do this?”
