The Rescue II

(Lydia Richmond's POV)

A familiar face.

It was Andy.

I was shocked on seeing Andy. He was supposed to be back in our house with the triplets. It was already late in the evening and I didn't know how he even managed to find where I was.

Meanwhile, Jake had fallen down already. Andy said nothing but instead, he began to untie me. I hugged Andy immediately I was free and I began to cry.

"It's okay, Lydia," Andy told me. "We have no time. Let's get going before his other men come here."

I didn't bother to ask Andy about the reason why Jake's colleagues would be coming. Instead, I followed him. My arms were aching but I was more on survival mode than to worry about an aching arm.

As we stepped out of the house, I saw about six men approaching with swords in their hands. They were soldiers and they had to be from Lord Stone Sumach's mansion.

"Look at them!" I pointed in fear. I was already shaking. If Andy had not been there, I would have been rooted to a spot.
