It's been months since everyone decided to leave the past behind. I pretended though. I wasn't satisfied without my revenge but I had to pretend to be filled with remorse. After all, it was all speculation.

I watched in satisfaction as Derrick continued to take shots with a satisfied smile formed on his face. My plan was to break through his defenses because I know he was at his limit. Ever since the marriage was finalized between him and Hayley, he had been trying to act brave while shattering into pieces. This was the right time for me to strike.
