I hadn’t made the wrong decision, I made this choice to protect the Royals and the pack. I was the heir, I had no wolf to defend them with and I could barely defend myself so this was my way to take charge. To show them that I cared, that I was capable, and despite the fact that I could never protect them in battle, I could protect them this way.

”Hey, have you seen the queen?” I asked one of the chefs in the kitchen.

”I think she’s in the main library with the king, princess,” The chef said. I groaned from being called princess again.

I walked through the hallway and practiced what I would say. But something told me that the truth would just blurt out the second I saw them.
