~Percy~ I was about to reach the Shadow Lands Pack, their borders stretched for miles and it would still take me an hour to drive up to Selene. I pressed on the gas and went as fast as I could but it wasn't fast enough. I stopped the car and got out. ’Fast’ i said to Egon as we shifted and started running towards the castle. We crossed the border and I knew that the hard part would start now. The second the guards knew someone had crossed onto their land they would be after us. I just needed to get to the castle. I started hearing howls and paws coming toward me and more guards were joining in coming from both left and right. No ill meanings to the royal guards but we were faster, they weren't a threat. Egon grolwed as we took on more speed and ran through the woods. The guards were growling behind us but they weren't close. ’Almost there’ I said as we started to near in on the castle. A tree had fallen in front of us, Egon took a right and rounded it whilst some of the gu
I froze too, unable to take another step and whatever was happening felt all to real but it wasn’t. ”You’re not real,” I said and shook my head. Percy was standing in front of me, our fronts brushed against each other and he gripped my chin forcefully, tilting my head back. I yelped and my eyes widened as I was looking into his. Percy’s eyes were dangerously black, his iris shone in a vague yellow color and I knew then that he was trying to contain his wolf. ”You’re not real,” I breathed and closed my eyes. ”Look at me.” He ordered. I shook my head, my bottom lip trembling and my fingers drawn in as I pressed my nails into my palms. I wanted to wake up, I wanted to be back in my room and have all of this behind me as a momentary pshyotic episode. This wasn't happening and I knew that but I didn't know how to get it to stop. ”I’m too late.” He said as his eyebrows dipped and his shoulders hunched. ”You’re not here,” I whispered. ”Why do you keep saying that?” He asked
Percy was standing mere inches away, whenever he breathed I could feel his chest brushing up against me. Percy's eyes locked on mine. ”He touched you?” I shook my head but the words were tangled on my tongue. ”Where?” Percy asked as he leaned his head down. His eyes were searching mine, I could tell that he was fighting to keep his wolf at bay. ”I-” I drew in a ragged breath. My eyelids fluttered and I leaned my head back to look into Percy's eyes. I couldn't remove them, however intimated I was, I couldn't stop staring at him. How could I explain in plain words that I had hallucinations about the guy that everyone treated like a prince? That he had kissed me, touched me, made me cum, and driven me to insane degrees of lust. How did I tell Percy that I almost slept with Sam? ”I, Uhm,” ”In words, please,” he said with a tiny smile, one that might’ve looked sweet and nice if the rest of him didn't look like the calm before the storm. ”He touched me,” I started. Down in the hallway we met with Meredith and Rasmus. The king held out a pair of keys towards Percy which he took and gave a silent nod in return. ”The car is in the front, another car with three of our best will follow behind you until you're past the border and the neighboring town.” The king's voice was darker than usual and full-on serious. Though he didn't bother to spare me a glance as he explained the plan to Percy. ”Leave, now.” He said and Percy grabbed my hand, dragging me after him until we made It outside and toward the car. He pressed on the clicker and a black SUV lit up on the gravel path leading away from the estate. ”Get in.” He ordered. I scoffed but did as he told me, I wanted to get away from here as badly as he did. The thought of what would happen if I didn't was freaking me out. ”Watch out!” Someone yelled from up on the stairs. Percy was beside me in a second and pushed me up against the car. A limp body came flying towards us and landed on the ro
I felt Damien's chest slightly shake behind me, he was enjoying this, causing pain and suffering. He leaned down his head and his lips touched softly against my ear. ”Looks like you’re on your own.” He whispered. ”That’s enough!” Steph shouted and took a step forward but was immediately pushed back by one of Damien's guys. Percy stepped forward and threw a left hook, knocking the other guy down to the ground. He was quick to get up and a fight between Percy and Damiens guy had begun. Others were antsy to join in, you could see the thrill in their eyes. It wasn't just Damien, they all got off on the blood and hurt. ”Stop.” Damien said and his guy stood still. Percy continued to deliver hits but when he realized that the guy he was fighting didn't fight back, Percy stepped back with a confused look on his face. Damien's hand snaked up my waist and along my neck until it was tangled in my hair. He pulled my head to the side, forcefully holding it there. My eyes met Percys an
Vanessa was swaying back and forth on her feet, her eyes were cast down and her hair fell in front of her face. When she looked up at me with those round-dark eyes, I knew I couldn't count on her. Vanessa was scared and when you’re scared and you let that fear take over, you’re useless. I thought she was stronger but I was wrong. She was too scared of Damien to be trusted. ”He’ll kill you,” she said. ”No he won’t, he needs me.” Vanessa raised her head. ”He wants to control you and if he thinks he can't do that, what do you think he’ll do?” I shrugged my shoulders. ”He has leverage, Selene, he has your whole family. If he finds out that he can't make you obey him by being bad, then he’ll force you to. Even if it means killing the people you care about,” I knew that she was right. Killing people was apparently a hobby to him. He had everyone wrapped around his finger and with one command he could have everyone killed. The white walls of this room were closing in on me
I walked down the hallway and Vanessa followed behind me. I took a right around the corner and down a flight of stairs. This floor was empty too. Vanessa was nervously biting her lip and her hands were stretched out like she was walking in darkness, afraid to trip over something or that someone would jump out on her. ”You’re freaking me out,” she said when she saw me staring and her eyes widened. Everything was exactly how it had been, the carpeting, the colors, the door, nothing had changed but where were all the people? ”Honestly-” I turned back around and rolled back my shoulders as I kept walking. ”-I’m pretty freaked out too,” I heard footsteps coming from the first floor and I froze. I slowly leaned over the railing and looked down. I saw a few people walking by. There was a window on the other side of the hall overlooking the back of the house so I took quick steps there and leaned against the window. There were several guards patrolling the house walking back and
The room was so silent you could drop a needle and every little tap against the floor would be heard. Damien was still behind me. My body was relaxing back onto his, it wasn't nervous, my body wasn't scared but my mind was screaming for dear life to run and fight and get the hell out of here. Even if I wanted to, my mind and my body weren't connected anymore. When I tried to run my feet stood still and I was leaning on him with every part of my body. ”Please,” I don't know why I said that. The feeling of not being able to control my body was causing a panic attack. I was screaming at myself but nothing happened. I might as well have been paralyzed. I looked to my side and saw Vanessa standing by the curtain, her eyes were wide and her chest rose high from her heavy breathing. ”Why did you come,” Meredith whispered as defeat filled her eyes. ”I- I came to save the King, I thought-” my eyes fluttered and I bit back the tears. ”-I thought he was gonna die,” Meredith shook her
