My grandfather and I had gone on a walk along the field pathway near his barn. He was elated to know that I had seen my parents and wanted to talk about it in a more natural calming environment. We had left Giovanni to get more rest as I pushed my grandfather out of the house, where the chilly air immediately hit us.

“How did it happen?” He asked, as I smiled, “I fell asleep in the tub while talking to Kamari and I sort of just woke up in a dark place until I heard their voices and followed,” I explained as he signaled me to stop before I walked around to stand in front of him, “That sounds familiar,” he said as I frowned, “You’ve been there before, papa, at the beautiful field and forest?” I asked in disbelief as he nodded with a smile on his face.

“First time in decades that I was able to run with my wife in my wolf form after she died and I lost my legs,” he said as I smiled at the thought, “It was so beautiful, papa, and they were there,” I said as he smiled before sighing heavily
