58: No Matter What

"Thank you for accepting our invitation, Elena, Rage," Cora said as we headed home. It was six o'clock in the afternoon so the sky was a bit dark. Lucio was already drunk that time so we're not able to bid our goodbyes to him.

"Nothing," I said and smiled.

"Take care."

I nodded. "Seriously, Rhea, we will go ahead."

Serio nodded and smiled. So did the younger brother.

Rage opened the car's door for me. I slid inside silently and watched him turn to the driver's seat. He stared at me after entering, an expectant look.

I shook my head and frowned.

"What's with the look?"

He shook his head and fasten his seatbelt. I did the same.

"You're tired?" he asked softly.

"Not so..."

"Sleepy?"

"Not yet."

He nodded and started the car. But my eyes narrowed when he's driving towards the wrong way. Instead of making his way to the mansion, on the other hand he turned, away from there. I looked at him curiously
