Chapter 30: Save my heart

“Is everything all right?” I am now sitting outside while listing the names of children and older students. We are now at the long table as the six of us sit. I didn’t make a mistake and we will indeed be overwhelmed because even the other barrio has already registered. The volunteers have arrived.

“Arturo Mendez and Arturo Mendez Jr., Miss. ”

I wrote the name of the student; they are father and son. It’s good that somehow they don’t want to forget to study and they persevere. Even though my purpose here is different, the people here are also my priority.

“Tyron.”

That’s what the man next to the man said earlier. I looked up and glanced at Tyron. This man is very stubborn. He doesn’t even know how to listen to what I’m saying. I also did nothing but put his name. I don’t want to argue with him now because someone else will notice us.

Ever since he told me about the ring, he has only become more and more clingy. I don’t know if he’s sweet sometimes or he just acts like that. Sometimes
