  KemyI was in a field of daisies, the same place I’ve ever been since I can remember, ever since my life became this endless dream. Being alone with my Dragon, Ember, waiting for many eternities whilst trying to find words in the silence of my mind, seemed to be my destiny. . Or at least that was what it felt like on the days I didn’t see him. His presence brought me some comfort, making me feel less lost inside myself, making me feel more real. I’ve dreamt for so long that I started feeling myself like a dream as well. A smile formed on my lips as my gaze found the wolf’s silhouette appearing on the far horizon. Although he was only a shadow outlined by the sunlight, every time he seemed to be a little bit closer; maybe, one day, he could reach me. Perhaps if I could touch him, touch reality, I would wake up. Of course I wasn’t only waiting, planted here like a tree. I tried to run towards him, but it didn’t help at all; it was the same as trying to reach the sun or the stars. M

  Henry I exhaled sharply and looked at the starry sky and white night. An odd sensation was burbling in the back of my mind.I didn’t know why, but even late in the evening, I couldn’t stop thinking about that stirring sensation. Since we felt it, my wolf has been restless, and I have been feeling almost the same way, though it didn’t prevent me from sparing all day long. As the future Alpha, I had to be prepared for anything; our packs had many enemies among the other packs in North America and even other beings such as Warlocks and Dragons.   Kemy My gaze found the wolf’s silhouette on the horizon, a majestic shadow within the golden sun. A smile formed on my lips as he took a few steps closer— would he finally come close enough? My heart skipped a beat as he kept walking. He was close enough for me to see more than a mere outline while the sun illuminated his snow-white fur; he was beautiful and huge. Maybe I could have a pet and feel less alone. I sighed happily. I heard Ember’s protest in the form of a roar. We were so close and entangled here alone in my dreams that I could understand her well, just as if she could use words and not only feelings and instinct to communicate. Besides that, our connection was so great that sometimes I could see her form in front of me and even caress her muzzle. Those were my happiest moments: that and when I saw the Wolf. She didn’t think he was a pet, not at all. I had to agree with her whilst my mouth hung open as the huge white wolf changed his form slowly, and a very naked man

  Henry I fell asleep almost immediately. Only when my eyes closed, the light sank in. I looked around myself to find that I was in a meadow, walking in Knight's form. There was nothing there besides some flowers, but I could feel a presence, a call; an invisible force was drawing me here. “I often dream about this meadow,” Knight told me. “Really? I thought you only dreamed about your mate and chasing squirrels,” I taunted him.“You are the one dreaming about squirrels,” the nonsense Wolf teased me back. It was quite an odd dream. I wasn’t ever able to communicate with Knight in my dreams before. “It’s because this is my dream, and you are intruding in it. I can’t even have my own space anymore,” he barked at me even though I was in his mind. Suddenly, I felt the stir in my chest once again. It was strong, stronger and closer than the first time. The stirring sensation compelled me to shift to my form, and I couldn’t control or even help it. I stayed there in shock, looking at my

  KemyMy eyes open in a wild surprise. That couldn’t be, I thought it was impossible. I felt Ember, I felt her communicate with the wolf within the man. “Ember, how could you reach him?” I asked in shock. Dragons could only communicate with their human counterpart and with other dragons when they both were in their reptilian form. I could feel her shuddering, she didn’t know how she could reach him either. She let me know that she sent him a mental image: the witch’s stones, known to humans as Stonehenge. It was one of our favourite places to play when I was young. I used to run around it, playing hide-and-seek with my sister, Mallory. Ember took her first flight there, or at least tried to since she ended up crashing her snout against one of the stones and falling on the ground, making Mallory fall on her back after laughing convulsively. My eyes watered at the sweet memories, those stones were near our home, before everything was destroyed and the Red Dragons captured us. When
