"How did you meet my grandson?"

"Um.." I hesitated, "there's nothing interesting about.."

"Oh come on. Every high school girl's life is interesting.."

"Okay so.. I met Sean a few years ago. Like, I didn't meet him, but I crashed into his party. So that was when I first saw him.."

"Aw.. that's so cute. carry on."

"So.. like a few weeks ago, Sean wanted to be my friend.."

So I ended up telling her the whole thing. Of course I had to miss a few details but I pretty much covered everything. She would occasionally say
