I don’t know what was with the murmurs when I arrived at school.

The whispers were worth eavesdropping on and the big glittering on everyone’s face was a mystery to unravel.

There is this strange bustling aura in the air and I can’t be so sure a party wasn’t going on somewhere around. Plus, examinations are only two weeks away, can someone tell me the reason why they are wandering aimlessly around?

“Who among you all has a wedding today?” I asked when I arrived at our classroom, Natalie shifting away as I slammed my backpack over my desk.

“You noticed it too? Good.” She didn’t bother to look at me as she kissed her tooth, pushing me down on my seat.

For the first time ever, rumors pulled my interest.

“Can you tell me what’s going on? Can’t miss out on this.” I told her, my own words surprising me.

I watched her doodle away on her notepad but didn’t interrupt her. A minute later, she shifted it over and I glanced through whatever it is she doodled.
