Chapter Fourteen

The remaining hours passed like a literal flash of lightening. After lunch, the first-afternoon session was Physics where I spent the two hours doodling on the note sheets that the teacher had handed out to everyone. I didn't stay around long enough after the final bell went, neither did I spot Oswald whom I had had two classes with within the crowd flocking out of the school. Tailing the crowd heading out to the schools parking lot, I made my way to the Beetle, got in and hit the road.

Adam's motorcycle was parked in the driveway when I got home, a clear indicator that the doofus was home.
