Chapter Seventeen

The mid-morning weekend traffic wasn't as horrible as I had expected it to be. Helen had left before I even showered and had breakfast but on the bright side, I got to drive the Beetle to the floral shop. When I left, Brett was hanging out at the house with Adam and I was more than happy I didn't have to spend the day with those morons.

Phoebe's car was in the parking lot which was overcrowded with people and vehicles. I scowled at how horrible I looked in the mirror, I had bags under my eyes and I was sleep-deprived. The reflection that stared back at me looked awful, almost like something out of The Walking Dead or worst one of those White Walkers.
