32- Leah's fright

"Come in," Alpha Derrick said. The door opened and he looked away from Martha to see Anna walking in.

"Hello, Alpha," she bowed. "Luna," she said in her formalities, then she stood with her hands by her side, "There's something I'd like to discuss."

Alpha Derrick was yet to forget her first request to contact Creed's boss. He hoped he had managed to wake her from that foolishness. Even with all the money that he had, he wouldn't be able to secure one.

"I'd like to leave tonight," Anna said.

Well, he had been expecting that. He knew she would never want to relax here for too long. She had a mission to fulfil.

"Are you sure you're alright and ready to begin?" Derrick got on his feet. "I won't stop you. I too wish you can seek vengeance for Weston and clear your name. I just hope you're level headed now and not rushing things. I'll support you however I can."

"Thank you but I can't allow you to put yourself in danger," Anna smiled kindly at him. "You've done far more than enough."
