Chapter 52

I woke the next morning with a feeling of overwhelming dread. You would think I would’ve been excited to be able to continue my grandfather’s legacy, but I was absolutely terrified. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee and start breakfast. I started chopping vegetables for omelets and sat the cinnamon rolls out to rise while the oven preheated. Once everything is chopped and the eggs were beaten, I started the omelets and put the cinnamon rolls in the oven. As soon as the omelets were done, I mixed the glaze and pulled the cinnamon rolls out of the oven. Just as I was glazing them, Joshua walked into the kitchen, “Good morning, love. Are you ready to take over a pack full of people who hate you?”
