Chapter 44.

Destinee POV.

Walking through the packhouse with Titus next to me, the atmosphere is sombre and depressed.

Titus takes my hand and leads me towards the cemetery. I stop in my tracks, my throat closes over, and I fight the tears. Titus gives my hand a squeeze and I look up to him, the tears falling.

“It’s OK. they are with Selene now, roaming the fields of Elysium with their ancestors.” All I can do is nod. Walking closer to the cemetery, I see 6 coffins and I choke on a whimper.

“Destinee, I’m here,” Aura chokes and whimpers in my head. The guilt is eating me alive. This is my fault.

Stepping closer, I let go of Titus’s hand and walked toward Dahlia’s parents. I lower my head and stop in front of her coffin.

I walk over and place my hand on the top of it.

“You are at peace,” I hear whimpers and I turn my gaze towards the pack members and I straighten up.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. If I had told Alpha Titus the reason Aura attacked Crystal, this wouldn’t be happening. I promise you all now
