Chapter Thirty

Howdy squeezed his face as he sat in the sitting room in his Aunt's house Vanessa Williams. He didn't have enough and was treated roughly.

"Aunt, this ain't enough for me," Howdy complained at the little oatmeal that Vanessa gave him to eat that day.

"Are you stupid! If it's not enough for you, then go out and add grass to it, stupid!" Vanessa said.

Howdy knew that there was more oatmeal but because Vanessa wanted to treat him badly she gave him so little that he had to complain.

"Now listen, I will be returning to Nebraska city to meet my family, so you can stay with that your friend Jake as usual," Vanessa said.

Howdy was an orphan and lost his parents and since he had been living with his Aunt, who maltreated him most times not allowing him to go I school.

Howdy had missed years of going to school because of his Aunt's refusal to pay his school fees. He is currently missing a year.
