Chapter Sixty-Four

I woke up with a knot in my throat, darting to the bathroom to shake it off. Oddly, I sensed someone in my room, but stepping out, it was empty.

My phone buzzed, and it was Josh calling from London, he left for London days after our engagement party.

"It's freezing," he replied. "Wish you were here with me."
