His penthouse was massive, the interior was dark and gloomy, no surprise there. He walked in and the lights came on, it was a mix of black and dark blue with some Grey. The space was calm and lonely.

“You stay here alone?” I asked as I walked further taking in the environment.

“You don’t see anyone else do you?” He answered walking further into the room. He walked towards the window which parted as he closed in. It was so unreal, after mom and dad separated, we stayed in a less fancy space which fit in our style.

This was spectacular, he was a billionaire no wonder he could afford an exclusive space like this.

“So what happens? I’m here now, legally tied to you. I’m tired and need to sleep-“

“You can take any of the rooms upstairs.” He interrupted me as he paced towards the counter to grab a drink. Ice in a stunt glass and from the looks of it, a whiskey.

“You’re drinking?” I asked and he paused his fingers rolling over the tip of the glass.
