Tiffany stood up abruptly, her heart pounding, unable to believe what she was seeing. Of course, she thought Maelie was dead, just as Leo had said, but now she's here, even with Erland!

"What is this? How is she still alive? Did she manage to escape Leo’s attack?" she wondered silently.

Miranda leaned in close to Tiffany’s ear. "Didn’t Leo say she was dead?" she whispered.

"Oh... And now you’re back with that second wife of yours!" Billy said loudly, his eyes on Maelie. "I thought she was dead? Or has she been faking her death all this time so we wouldn't suspect you had a relationship with her? Are you pretending to have amnesia to hide your ongoing affair?" he accused, glaring at Erland.
