KAYLA'S POV

The courtroom was filled to the brim. The tension was crackling, and one could hear a pin drop.

Both lawyers had presented their arguments, and it was up to the jury to make their decision before it would be passed down to the judge.

I stare at Tristian Ravenford, who stared at me in return. He was in a beautiful suit, and he looked handsome. His wound was healing fast, and his life was returning back to normal. All of our lives were returning back to normal.
