Chapter 20 – Teasing a reward

Lily frowned at her when she finished relating her last week’s experience in the office.

“What’s his name?”

“Cedric. I was told he’s also wooing women from other departments, you included. Is it true?” Truthfully, she’s not interested in the guy. She’s merely concerned if he’s playing with people, especially if it’s her friend.

Lily pursed her lips. “Are you sure? Why do I feel like you’re talking about a different person? The Cedrik I know is somewhat timid, not arrogant…”

Melissa stared at her for a while. “Really?”

“I mean, do you like this guy? Do you happen to have a picture?” She added, wanting to settle this matter quickly.

“Well, I actually do. I stalked his social media one time. I mean, he’s cute and acted like a fine gentleman.” Her friend explained as she browsed through her phone.

Oh, well. They might actually be talking about different people, which would be a good thing. She patiently waited for Lily to show her a photo.

“Oh, here. Look. This is Cedrik.”
