Chapter 24 – Permission

Well, Mel was unable to give him a proper reply. She didn’t say yes. She told him how her guardian at home is quite strict. She emphasized she’s not joking when he showed a disbelieving expression.

“I’m serious. I have a curfew. I have to be home early every day.”
