Chapter Thirty-Four

Lisa was sorting some documents in Lucio's office when David entered.

"Is Lucio still in a meeting?"

"Yes"

Lisa avoided telling him the part that he was in a meeting with Ms. Wang. David probably wouldn't want to wait in his office. Ms. Wang always wanted to flirt with him whenever he was around and David was disgusted by her.

"Valerie has moved in with me"

"That's good, is she happy?"

"Yes she is, she proposed marriage"

Lisa's eyes widened as her jaw dropped but she was quick to close her mouth. Valerie was truly in love with David. She had thought she was only putting on an act but this wasn't an act. She was in love with David and was ready to do anything to be with him.

"And what did you say?"

"I want to give her a grand wedding and not something rushed. She wanted to get married right away"

"Awwww" Lisa was happy for them. They were so in love that she wanted to be just like them as well.
