I ran after Mr White who punched the wall repeatedly as he walked down the stairs angrily muttering words under his breath.

I followed him quietly not knowing what to say or how to comfort a man that just found out that his only child isn't his but his best friend's.

He went to his bar and took a bottle of whiskey and a glass cup. He stood for a whole minute looking at the bottle then suddenly smashed the glass cup on the floor. I gasped in fear moving back.

He opened the bottle and gulped forcefully. I wondered if he hadn't noticed me or if he was probably ignoring me.

He loosened his tie and then headed out the back door towards the garden. He sat down on a bench drinking from the whiskey bottle before screaming and hitting his chest repeatedly. I ran over to him kneeling in front of him and holding his clenched fist in an attempt to calm him.
